FOURTH PLINTH HAHN/COCK BY KATHARINA FRITSCH

Blue cockerel arrives on Trafalgar Square

The Fourth Plinth in the northwest corner of Trafalgar Square has been home to some of the world’s most innovative and striking artworks, not least Hahn/Cock by Katharina Fritsch: a 4.72m ultramarine cockerel.

Momart provided complex art handling services for the packing, transport, installation and unveiling of the fibreglass sculpture, coordinating local permissions and liaising with stakeholders including the artist, her gallery, the Greater London Authority (GLA) and Westminster City Council.
