Momart Ltd celebrated the opening of the third edition of Frieze Masters art fair with a champagne reception hosted at the Gail's Cafe during the invitation-only preview of the fair.
On Tuesday 14 October, the third edition of the acclaimed Frieze Masters art fair opened its doors to the first guests. Among the first visitors were François Pinault, the owner of Christie’s, the curator Caroline Bourgeois, Nicholas Serota, the director of the Tate, the artist Anish Kapoor and the fashion designer Valentino, as well as numerous US museum groups and curators, including the American friends of London’s Serpentine Galleries and James Rondeau, the curator of contemporary art at the Art Institute of Chicago.
To mark the occasion Momart Ltd, sponsor of Frieze Masters 2014, hosted a VIP champagne reception at the Gail’s Cafe. The mood was merry, with collectors, artists and dealers socializing over champagne, and with Momart carrying out a prize draw at the end of the evening.
The six lucky winners, whose names were randomly drawn from all business card entries, will be receiving an exclusive limited edition Past & Future calendar by White Editions.
We would like to thank all the guests for joining us at the champagne reception and we hope you enjoyed the evening with Momart at this year’s Frieze Masters preview day.
